“We saw an oak floor in the Tower of London, very old obviously and the planks were probably half a metre wide. They were just beautiful!

They obviously had thousands of footsteps on them, they were worn on the step which looked beautiful. I just thought, ‘wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a floor like that in your house.

So when we saw this floor, it was actually the first boards we looked at. I just fell in love with it straight away.  We then spent a year looking for other alternatives and just kept coming back to the same floor.

It’s tied in really well with the fire half and the installer did a terrific job putting it in.

It just fits together beautifully. ”
