FLOOR OF THE WEEK

Choosing a consistent floor throughout was a key decision in the design phase of the build.

Slate, hybrid flooring, tiles and carpet…our clients had it all in their previous home creating an inconsistent look that was less straightforward to maintain. Having  consistent flooring throughout, was a key decision in the design phase of their new build.

For Peter and Mary, the pleasure of walking on a real timber floor, ease of maintenance and the overall welcoming effect, make this new home a place they can’t wait to move in to. With the intention of building to accomodate a wheelchair, choosing their flooring early also ensured the transitions to tiled bathrooms, carpeted bedrooms  and all entrances are seamless.
