Honey Bamboo

Phyllostachys edulis (Moso bamboo)
Bamboozle® bamboo floors feel similar to hardwood but they look
distinctly different. The variety of natural colours in the Bamboozle range occur as the bamboo is heated. Honey is the natural colour of the bamboo fibre before any heating occurs, so it is the lightest in the natural range.

Unlike hardwood floors, bamboo is not harvested from trees. It is, in fact, one of the largest, ecologically sustainable and renewable grasses in the world. It grows rapidly in the wild, replenishing itself in just a few years.

Bamboo’s growth and harvesting has no effect on local human or animal populations. Pandas do not eat the MOSO bamboo species used in Bamboozle products. Harvested after 5 to 6 years, Bamboo plantations we use are grown without herbicides, chemical fertilisers, and pesticides.

Bamboo floor planks are manufactured by slicing or shredding the stalk of the bamboo, and then adhering the pieces back together using heat, pressure, and an adhesive. Using a unique and patented stabilising process, cross layering provides superb strength, hardness and durability.

Please note: This is a natural product and subject to colour variation.
