The great news is that timber flooring is incredibly versatile with it’s variations in colour and naturally distinctive grain and features. We’ve gathered up some stunning examples to inspire you on your journey to creating a home you’ll love.

Some handy hints to get your started!

  1. Start thinking about the colors and style you want to see in your home. Seek Inspiration from our Floors of the Week, magazines, Pinterest and Instagram.
  2. Visit our showroom and pick up a sample of the floor you are most attracted to, or take a photo, to start creating your own moodboard. Choosing the floor first gives you a base from which to build the look you’re going for.
  3. Collect paint samples, fabric samples and photos and add them to your mood board.
  4. Different lighting situations can affect the colour of your paint so if you can, try out a few paint samples in different areas of your home.
  5. Remember that there are no rights or wrongs. Take into account current trends but allow yourself to add your own personal spin.
  6. You may already have furniture you love, does it need new fabric, new cushions or a throw rug? You may have items you’ve gathered from travel in days gone by that will not only bring that personal touch but add character and colour.
